However, he reportedly stopped by the studio frequently while the other Byrds recorded the 5D album. He is listed as a co-arranger on the outtake, "I Know My Rider", but it's not clear if he actually sings on the released version. He may also have played harmonica on "Captain Soul".
In 1967, he rejoined the band after Crosby was fired. He supposedly co-wrote "Get to You" (rather than Hillman) with McGuinn, but he left again before that song was recorded. He was with the band at the time they recorded "Goin' Back" and "Space Odyssey", and possibly recorded some harmony vocals on those songs. | | | Post Reply | Display replies to this message
